Here on the Iller, the fisherman Sepp operates a ferry service in the old tradition, which offers a comfortable as well as entertaining way of crossing the Iller. Anyone who knows him describes him as an Allgäu veteran. The crossing takes 15 minutes and the passenger can enjoy all kinds of information about the river and worthwhile hiking destinations in the Illerwinkel. Sepp operates the ferry as a hobby, on weekends and by appointment. During the cold season – approximately November to April - there is no ferry service.
In addition to the ferry operation, a boat trip can also be booked. On the hearty boat trip with Josef Fischer you follow the course of the Iller and can experience the wonderfully natural Illerwinkel up close. Registration with Josef Fischer in Wagsberg from 6 pm via tel. 08394/665.
