On pilgrimage

Are you on a Bayerisch-Schwäbische Jakobus-Pilgerweg pilgrimage? These lead directly through Memmingen. Pick up your well-deserved stamp from us at the Tourist Information and treat yourself to a little time out in one of our wonderful cafés or take a little stroll through the picturesque old town.

In addition to the Bavarian-Swabian “Jakobusweg” or Way of St James, the "Martinusweg" or Way of St Martin also leads through Memmingen. Further information is available under the homepage The Way of St Martin - General information (martinuswege.eu).

You prefer to travel by bike? With the new Jakobus-Radpilgerweg you can cycle along the Jakobusweg. The western route leads from Augsburg to Lindau via Memmingen.
